Stamping on an Old Box

I had two old stamp albums which had been passed on to me quite a few years ago,  none of them were of any value, sentimental or otherwise. I have threatened to throw them out many times but hadn't the heart, someone had taken the time to collect these and anyhow they didn't take up much houseroom.

After visiting a local tea room which had salt and pepper pots covered in stamps it gave me an idea for mine.

 Finding an old wooden box I had bought at the charity shop a while back and decided to cover that with my stamps I stuck them on with pva glue and then gave it all a couple of coatings with the same glue. 

I am pleased with the results I think it looks quite quirky.
I have a few more left so I am on the lookout for something else to .........STAMP ON!
